Jay’s birth was a perfectly amazing Lamaze experience: A miraculous 9 hours of non-medicated, absolutely pain free labor, and only 3 pushes (mind you this was my first baby, not bad at all!). I know the world was blessed when Jason Christopher Cooper was delivered on September 21st, 1978 at 12:58 pm. Jason was an extraordinary child; he never crawled but walked at 9 and a half months, started really talking by 12 months, and could sing his ABC’s from start to finish at 18 months. At 3 yrs and 18 days he fell in love with his little baby brother, and spent the rest of his life being the best big brother he could possibly be. Jason was an outstanding student; he always loved school and learning. Just months before his untimely death, Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree. But, of all his many lifelong achievements, I believe being an excellent Father was his most important accomplishment. There is so much more I could say, but I will end it with WE LOVE YOU JAY!!! & WE WILL MISS YOU ALWAYS ALL DAYS…
